An echocardiogram is a test that uses sound waves to take pictures of the heart from outside the body. The pictures are obtained by using ultrasound, which is the same technology used in radar and sonar. This test does not involve the use of radiation. It is a useful test for comprehensively evaluating the heart.

Stress Test

A Stress Test is a test that can identify patients that have a decreased blood flow to their heart. It can also help to identify if the symptoms you may be having are due to a heart problem. Our office offers two types of Stress Tests; Exercise Stress ECG and Exercise Stress Echocardiogram. Ultimately, these tests measure blood flow to your heart muscle both at rest and after activity. Through this comparison, we are able to reveal areas in your heart with poor blood flow or damage. In addition, Nuclear Stress Testing is available on premises.

What to expect:

A non-invasive diagnostic test that measures how well your heart works when it’s pumping hard.

What is a Stress Test:

It can help identify heart diseases, such as coronary artery disease or irregular heart rhythms.
